So, I got me a Nokia bluetooth GPS reciever and it really works without any problems! The graphics are great, and the maps are ok too (for western europe) ... The installation is a little tricky, if someone needs some help, PM me! As far as I know this is the first AND only navigation software that works on the Z8.... hopefully there will be more in the future, but the support of our phone is not really encouraging!
Installed 2388 the other day, using RSD Lite 4.1, no issues. Seems to be faster, that might be wishful thinking on my part. Or maybe rose colored glasses.
One of the changes, the font sizing. The large font size, is larger than my previous version, 2338c4. Makes it pretty nice for me.
There are a few extra icons with this version. Am sure there are other things too, just haven''t gotten to them yet.
I''m sure this is just a wish, but.. Any way that an antenna change would allow for 3G use in North America? I''m sure this would be a hardware not f/w or software change. Also, figure the FCC might have something to say about it as well.
Any thoughts, suggestions..
I recently flashed 2388 using RSD Lite 4.1, seems to be working fine no issues that I''ve noticed yet.
Well I still haven''t been able to set mine up on Orange. The Nokia online settings doesn''t seem to function any longer - it talks about pressing zero of the key pad and lots of other stuff.
I want to use GooSync on my Sendo so that I can have my GMail Calendar and contacts on the beastie. I signed up to Orange World today so I should be able to get it on my phone..
I have a Sendo X on Orange but I have never been able to set it up so that I can use WAP, e-mail or anything else. I have another spare Sendo X which is currently doing nothing. I would like to use the Sendo X to work with my GMail account and do a little WAP surfing. So which mobile phone provider has a PAYG data network which can work with the Sendo X?
