Have just checked mine and I can hear a buzzing sound from the four-way pad. It stops when the keypad backlighting goes out. Wonder if they are all like this then?
After a bit of fiddling around it is the sounds in the themes. I took the sounds from the themes file and tried playing them on the phone. Got the error message that the sounds were unsupported. Why put these sounds in if they are unsupported?
Anyone having trouble with the themes that are available from the UIQ website? In particular the sounds that are embeded in the theme files. They seem to crash my phone.
I set the UIQMorning as the theme and when I tried to listen to the ringtone the themes app crashed. Tried again and still the same. So i tried setting the theme and then phoning the phone. The phone showed the incoming call but no sound and the phone crashed. The only way to get it back was to remove the battery.
Was just looking at the UIQ website and I stumbled across this:

So have Motorola taken the speaker independent name dialling out or are we both thick? lol
Noticed that while roaming on Orange the network operator logo changed to the orange logo, but when on Three a green house is displayed. Are these logos downloaded from the operators automatically? Wish Three had a proper logo now
Have a few Nokia .acc files (ringtones and message alerts). When played in the media player these files play fine. But when I go to change the ringtone/message alert from within the profiles, the playback of the .acc file plays back as if it has been slowed down and not playing at the normal speed. (These files are stored on a memory card. Could this have anything to do with it?)
Anyone else noticed this? I can email the .acc files if someone wants to try it for themselves.
