Motorola at the Smartphone Show |
|
Motorola are exhibiting at the upcoming Symbian Smartphone Show in London next week (21st & 22nd October). Infact, they're a Bronze Sponsor for the show. So what does this mean in reality?
Motorola are making quite a bit of noise about being at the Smartphone Show this year, much like Sony Ericsson have done in previous years (but intriguingly aren't doing this year). They're pushing their MotoDev offerings, presumably still centred around UIQ (it being a Symbian show), and they're seemingly being quite positive.
We'll be at the show to quiz them about their future plans for UIQ... to see if the rumours about Skarven having been axed are true [they are true...Ed], and to see if Texel still has a future [not as we know it Jim...Ed]. We'll also be asking them what their long term platform strategy is - will Motorola be licensing the Symbian Foundation OS / UI *cough* S60 *cough*?
