| Motorola are still supporting UIQ development... honest! |
|
Motorola, in the form of their development team MOTODEV, yesterday
issued a press release confirming their continuing support for UIQ and
(re)launching their UIQ development suite. Full details are below.
Motorola, Nokia, and Sony Ericsson recently announced our intent to unite Symbian, S60 and UIQ to create one open mobile software platform. Together with other founding members we plan to establish the Symbian Foundation to provide a royalty-free open platform that will lead to more opportunity for you to supercharge your innovation to deliver new services and compelling mobile experiences.
What does this mean for you?
We continue our commitment to platforms that are open, scalable and have a supportive ecosystem. We are dedicated to meeting and exceeding your expectations, and we will update you as the new Foundation progresses. As always, if you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.
