In a "keep the developers thinking we care at all costs" move, SonyEricsson have just announced that their first Symbian Foundation based phone will be available in the second half of 2009 (Q3 2009). And the good news is you can develop for it now, using the, um, S60 SDK :-)

Here at Symbian's Smartphone show today in London, SonyEricsson tapped yet another nail into UIQ's coffin by publicly saying "UIQ didn't attract the operator, manufacturer or consumer interest needed to stop it failing", so their stance is pretty clear. Documents to Go v4 released - Office 2007 file editing added Print

Dataviz have just let us know that they've released version 4 of Documents to Go for UIQ3. The big improvement in this version is full support for viewing and editing Office 2007 documents, something which was not previously available in Documents to Go.
